Elmleigh Homes Limited was first established in 1990 as Elmleigh House. Converted from a vicarage dating back to Victorian times, we had 6 people living with us, and by 1994, following expansion of the premises, the number of residents had increased to 13.

In 1996 we purchased two detached 3 bedroom dwellings which we called the Saplings. This enabled us to offer a home to 6 more people who prefer a more independent way of life, but with support and care available.

In the year 2000 we converted a small dwelling in the grounds into self-sufficient accommodation for one person, but with the support of Elmleigh House available at all times. Extra accommodation in 2 single en-suite bedrooms is now available and at the moment we look after 22 people. We are in the process of converting a detached house within its own grounds into accommodation for 4 more people. Each of the bedrooms will be en-suite and the house is within a minute's walk of Elmleigh. The new accommodation should be ready from January 2008.
